Transcript

I heard that if you crack and egg at the bottom of the ocean, then something crazy happens.

So I wanted to try it out.

First I got my egg. And then I went to the bottom of the ocean; it’s about forty-five feet (fourteen meters) deep here.

I check to see if it would float back up, and it actually sank.

When I tried to crack it, I realized that my thumbnails weren’t that strong.

So I went back to the surface for a breath . . .

Diver: “Oh hey, Brittney, look at that rainbow!”

Anyway, I went back down, and I cracked it open with the other camera — and as I pulled it apart, you could see that the clear part of the egg sticks to the top.

I wanted to make sure that the egg stayed all together, so I slowly peeled away the pieces at the bottom of the shell. Until it would fall out.

Now, I’ve got this cool, floaty egg . . .

Diver: “Look at me and my egg friend!”

This is so crazy — he’s just chillin.

I was running out of breath, so I went up again.

And when I looked down — this fish was stealing my egg!

Diver: “Bro, could you not?”
He scurried away.

I swam back down . . . and all that was left was bits and pieces. I tried to pick it up, and obviously that didn’t work.

I’ll try this again, and this time, I won’t let a fish steal my egg.

Okay, that’s all the stuff we saw. Bye!
