Video: The Ocean Experiment

I heard that if you crack and egg at the bottom of the ocean, then something crazy happens.

So I wanted to try it out.

First I got my egg. And then I went to the bottom of the ocean; it’s about forty-five feet (fourteen meters) deep here.

I check to see if it would float back up, and it actually sank.

When I tried to crack it, I realized that my thumbnails weren’t that strong.

So I went back to the surface for a breath . . .

Diver: “Oh hey, Brittney, look at that rainbow!”

.     .     .     .     .     .     .     .

Anyway, I went back down, and I cracked it open with the other camera — and as I pulled it apart, you could see that the clear part of the egg sticks to the top.

I wanted to make sure that the egg stayed all together, so I slowly peeled away the pieces at the bottom of the shell. Until it would fall out.

Now, I’ve got this cool, floaty egg . . .

Diver: “Look at me and my egg friend!”

This is so crazy — he’s just chillin.

I was running out of breath, so I went up again.

.     .     .     .     .     .     .     .

And when I looked down — this fish was stealing my egg!

Diver: “Bro, could you not?”
He scurried away.

I swam back down . . . and all that was left was bits and pieces. I tried to pick it up, and obviously that didn’t work.

I’ll try this again, and this time, I won’t let a fish steal my egg.

Okay, that’s all the stuff we saw. Bye!

Fish. This video was about a magic performance on Britain’s Got Talent. True or false? Did it take place on a stage?

Starfish. Did the person swim on the top of a lake?

Horse fish. The diver conducted an experiment with apples, oranges and bananas. Is this right or wrong?

Octopus, Squid. From the bottom of the ocean, did the egg float to the top of the surface?

Manta-ray, Stingray. Is the diver strong or weak in the video?

Whale. The diver was using aqualungs or airtanks. Is this correct or incorrect? Was he alone in the water?

Dolphin, Porpoise. Did he use a hammer to crack the eggshell? Did the egg white and egg yolk dilute and mix with the water?

Eel. The diver ate the egg yolk and egg white. Do you agree? Was he happy in the end? What had happened in the end?
Crab. I have snorkeled or scuba dived. My friends have snorkeled or scuba dived Yes or no?

Shrimp, Lobster.
Have you conducted scientific experiments at school? What have you or your teacher done?

Clam, Oyster, Mussels. Do you like eggs? Do you eat eggs? How do you eat eggs?

Swordfish, Marlin.
What will happen in the future?

Shark. What could or should people do?
