Transcript

I’m Bizgim, I’m twenty-two (22) and I live in Diyarbakir.

What do you do for a living?

I’m a waitress. I earn around 20 euros a day.

What does globalization mean to you?

To me globalization means using modern technology, influencing politics, and taking part in all the new things taking place in the world.

What worries you?

Some of my ancestors and relatives are Kurds. Some of my family lives in Diyarbakir.

There is a conflict between Turks and Kurds. My family and relatives have been persecuted. And of course, that’s very close to home.

What makes you happy?

I’m studying sports science and teach sports to children. That’s a lot of fun, and I want to keep doing it.

Which country would you like to visit?

I’d like to go to Spain and get to know the people and culture. I’d really like to see it.

How do you spend your free time?

I’d like to sleep in my spare time. But actually I don’t have a lot of free time.
