My name is Tatiana Pechnikova, and I live in Moscow.

What do you do for a living?

I’m an opera singer, and I work at Moscow’s Novaya Opera Theater.

What does globalization mean to you?

In my opinion, one good thing about globalization is that it brings people from all over the world closer together.

But unfortunately, one of the consequences is that national values and some of the uniqueness of individual cultures are lost in the process.

What’s your favorite food?

I love simple and tasty food: meat, fish, vegetables and freshly squeezed fruit juice.

Basically, food that good for me and that tastes good.

Which countries would you like to visit?

I’d like to go abroad and visit countries like Italy, France, and Spain. Every country has something special about it; a beauty of its own. I find it interesting to see the differences to my own country.

What makes you happy?

My surroundings make me happy. To have work that makes me feel useful. And my health is also important to me. I just want to live and sing; then everything is fine.
