I’m Gracia Goya. I’m 40, and I live in Mexico City.

What do you do for a living?

I work for a US foundation called Hispanics in Philanthropy. We’re working to promote development in Latino communities.

What does globalization mean to you?

It means that I can sit here in Mexico City and work with someone in Argentina. Or Guanajato in Mexico.

And at the same time for a company in the USA.

What worries you?

Like so many people in Mexico, I’m worried about the violence we’ve been experiencing in the last few years.

I worry about how the authorities are going to stop this violence.

What makes you happy?

My friends and my family make me happy. I love having them around and spending time with them.

What is your favorite food?

I love Mexican food from all our regions. It’s delicious. I especially like the food from the southeast. It’s nice and spicy.

What country would you like to visit?

I would like to travel to Egypt. There’s something magical about it. There’s so much to learn. I’d like to go there.

How do you spend your leisure time?

I go to the movies. I read. And I like to go for walks.
