Hi, I’m Demi Devan. I am 40 years old. And I live in Mumbai, India.

What do you do for a living?

Well I’m working with an airline and I’m with the inflight department; so I’m in the flying crew, basically.

I fly twenty days a month, I’m out of India, and I earn roughly around I would say 16,000 Euros per annum.

What’s your favorite food?

I love eating, basically. But I think I like Thai food quite a bit. I can have it every day. Spicy Thai food that’s what I really enjoy.

What worries you?

The environment worries me a lot, of course. In India a lot of people worry about it.

But we don’t know how to go and help — but we are trying our best, like we are trying to save our mangrove. That’s the biggest issue we’re dealing with right now.

And I’m glad people are getting together; they are worried and they want to do something and they are doing something.

Fortunately I’m quite involved in it. We do a lot of stuff to save the mangrove.

What does globalization mean to you?

We human beings treat other people also as human beings, and respect that. That is I would say is globalization.

Which country would you like to visit?

The country I really enjoyed being was Italy, of course, in Rome.

The simply reason: the history says a lot there. Just spending time in Vatican city was beautiful.

Of course looking at those Italian men that was very interesting.
