Hi. I’m Sunneva.

I’m from Iceland. I’m 25 and I live in Reykjavik, the capital of the best country in the world.

What do you do for a living?

At the moment I’m working for the Reykjavik Public Utilities. We supply clean water and power generated by geothermal energy, which is a sustainable energy source, if you use it properly.

What makes you happy?

I’m very happy that I’m healthy and that I’m able to travel a lot. And good food makes me happy too, like chocolate.

How do you spend your leisure time?

In my leisure time, I like to go on walks and explore the Icelandic countryside. I also like relaxing in hot tubs. And I like reading writers from all over the world, like South America and Canada.

What country would you like to visit?

Today I was talking to a colleague at work who had just come back from Istanbul in Turkey. I’d like to go there. Turkish culture is interesting. The weather is good and the food is great.

What do you expect for the future?

I’d just like to stay happy and healthy. And my loved ones too.

What does globalization mean to you?

To me, globalization is superficially something great because it allows me to travel a lot. But in my travels, I’ve seen that globalization can be very destructive in terms of language, culture, and work opportunities.
