Mother: “Nicole, when you’re done with that, could you please vacuum the living room?”
Nicole: “Seriously? Another chore? I‘ve been doing chores all day long. Don’t you think maybe I deserve a break?”
Mother: “Hmmm. Now let me think about that. Uh no. Anyway, after you’ve done with that, could you please clean the sink, blah, blah, blah . . . “

Nicole: If only I were an adult, then I wouldn’t have to do all these dumb chores and homework.

I think I’m going to just take a quick nap — I mean I’m sure she wouldn’t mind.

Nicole: Ha . . . I‘m in an office at a desk. Oh, anything is better than doing chores at home. I even have one of those cool, professional name-tag things.

Well . . . now that I’m an adult, I can do whatever I want.

I think I’ll go on a lunch break . . .

Boss: “Haaawww. Did I just hear a lunch break?

A lunch break!?!”

You still have all of this work to do. You have to finish all this by three pm today.

Wow!!!

I’m watching you miss, if you get any bright ideas, I’ll be right out.

I’m watching you!!!”

Nicole: I can’t do all this work. I don’t even know what my job is.

The phone’s ringing.

Nicole: “Hello?”
Phone: “Hello Miss, you currently owe $5 million to your local bank.”
Nicole: “FIVE MILLION DOLLARS?!!? I cannot pay that.”
Phone: “Well that is too bad. Have fun in jail.”

Nicole: The copy machine! Wait, I don’t know what you’re doing. Please stop!

Huh. If only I weren’t an adult anymore. This is horrible!

I don’t understand anything about this job!

Nicole: I don’t want to be an adult anymore.

I’m not . . . back to normal anymore.

I’m a little kid. I don’t want to be this young. Whoever dressed me had bad fashion taste.

Looks like I’m in a kindergarten class or something. At least I don’t have to do chores anymore.

Teacher: “Nicole we do not raise our voice in this classroom; I think you need a time out.”

Nicole: “I was not raising my voice. I was just telling this mean kid the right answer.”

Teacher: “Well, I didn’t want to have to do this, but I guess I’m going to have to. I’m calling your parents.”

Nicole: If only I was back to my normal age again.

Nicole: Oh it was just a dream. Oh, I’m so happy. Yes!

Nicole: “Don’t worry mom: I will do all the chores that you want me to do. I’m just so happy to be my normal age again!”

Mom: “Okay. What’s up with her? Oh, well.”
