Hello, I’m James. I’m 29 years old and I live in this boat in London.

What do you do for a living?

For a living I’m an illustrator and an animator as well, so I make cartoons and do pictures for magazines and books I earn enough to keep this boat afloat which isn’t much but it’s enough to get by in central London.

How do you spend your leisure time?

Living on the boat it feels like all the time is leisure time, even when I’m working I’m really enjoying it, it doesn’t feel like I’m at work. I like to spend my time on the boat going on long journeys going through London past all the great landmarks like Camden lock, I’ve been to Regent’s Park, London Zoo, London Eye, Canary Wharf, all the great London landmarks.

What’s your favorite food?

My favorite food is probably sausages.

Which country would you like to visit?

I’d really like to go to Lebanon because my mate was from Lebanon, and he always says how good the food was. I used to live in the part of London where all the Lebanese restaurants were and all the food was amazing, so I’d like to go there and eat my self silly.

What does globalization mean to you?

To me globalization seems to be a shrinking of the world, technology and trade and change of information. It’s also local information is being lost.

What do you expect for your future?

I’d like to take a boat and go over the seas and to a tropical island.
