Transcript

My name is Georgos Xenos. I’ve been painting since I was a child out of conviction to leave behind a trace.

What does globalization mean to you?

I wish there were complete respect for human rights. A fair distribution of money and wealth. And full cultural expression.

But that’s not the way it is.

What’s your favorite food?

When half of humanity is going hungry, I’m ashamed to talk about what I like to eat.

How do you spend your leisure time?

I like to get together with young people, which I often do. I also like to listen to music and to play the clarinet.

Which country would you like to visit?

I’m really interested in Berlin because it’s a place where a lot of cultures come together, and exciting things develop. I want to be part of that.

Berlin is a global art center.
