In times of uncertainty, people that are brand-new can take over. People that are big become small, or they become bigger — they get stronger.

And what’s true in business is also true in your own life. In uncertain times if you can bring certainty to yourself, if you can get yourself to take action to follow through, this could be the best time of your entire life.

If you’re a real leader, you’ve set a standard for yourself and you won’t let
anything take that standard away, a standard of who you are, what you stand
for: how you’re gonna live, what you’re gonna give, what you’re gonna create.

And no one man, woman, child, environment, business, government, financial situation will keep you from living your life at that level of quality and giving
what you want to give to people.

The purpose the firewalk is just a great metaphor, for taking things you once
thought we’re difficult or impossible, that will show you how quickly you can
change.
