Transcript

My name is Cecilia Garcia. I’m twenty-three years old, and I live in Buenos Aires.

What do you do for a living?

I’m a Tango dancer, and I teach Tango too. I’ve been dancing for eight years. I give lessons in Buenos Aires. And I dance at different Tango events.

What worries you?

I worry about the way humanity treats our planet. People think they’re masters of the universe. And they’re destroying it.

What does globalization mean to you?

Globalization is first and foremost an economic process, that links national economies into a large global network. But I’m more interested in globalization’s cultural aspects.

On Tango nights in Buenos Aires, you meet people from all over the world. They talk about their world views, their cultures and their countries.

What’s your favorite food?

I like pasta and chocolate.

Which country would you like to visit?

I would like to visit Mexico, because of its culture and diversity. I really like all its colors.

What makes you happy?

Dancing makes me happy.
